Dawn Shine was born to Warbler Talon and Persimmon Eyes along her sister, Poplar Stripe. She was mentored by Butterfly Petal. When she joined LeafClan, she was mentored by Icicle Spots. She graduated and was honored for her courage.

On Moon 116, she had four kits with Fox Claw of StreamClan: Sleet Puddle, White Claw, Yarrow Flower, and Frost Fur. The kits stayed in StreamClan with their father.

Dawn Shine is a short-furred, blue broken-mackerel torbie molly with one golden fluorite eye and one baby blue eye. She is of average height (10.58"), with an intermediate body type.
